Shipping Policy

This page is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and the details marked in brackets are still to be completed. It is published here so it can be checked, not relied upon.

Where I ship

Wine club cases ship to France, the rest of the European Union, Hong Kong and the United States, with the exceptions below.

  • States I cannot serve. Utah, Mississippi and South Dakota do not allow this kind of delivery. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded because of the cost. An order for one of these states is cancelled and refunded in full before anything ships.
  • Alabama. State law requires wine to go through a state-operated store. Your case is delivered to the designated store nearest you, where you collect it with proof of age. I tell you which store when the case ships.

When cases ship

Three shipping windows a year: November, February and May. Nothing ships in summer, and shipments are held back during extreme temperatures. Allow around eight weeks from the day your case leaves me to the day it reaches you.

Who ships it

Cases are shipped by a logistics provider licensed for the export and delivery of wine. Every shipment is insured.

Price, duties and taxes

The price of your collection includes transport, duties, excise and applicable taxes. Nothing is due on delivery.

Receiving your case

An adult must sign for the case: 21 or over in the United States, of legal drinking age elsewhere. Cases are never left at the door or handed to a third party.

If something goes wrong

If a case arrives damaged or does not arrive, write to me at dylan@leclosdesloups.com with a photo if you can. If a case comes back because the address was incomplete or wrong, I contact you to arrange a new delivery.
